 今天又聽到有人將1900年說成是二十世紀的頭一年了，而且說此話者還是外國文學系的教授。
由朱塞佩‧多納托雷 Giuseppe Tornatore所執導的1998年作品《海上鋼琴師_The Legend of 1900》，片中演到郵輪上的鍋爐工為襁褓中的主人公取名時，說道：
I found him the firrst month of the first year of this ... |
